📹 Creating Videos with Claude Code and Remotion (5-Day Mini Course)
The Context: You've built a landing page and a mobile app this week. Now let's talk about something most founders don't even know is possible - creating videos with code. Remotion is a framework that lets you build videos using React, and Claude Code can write it for you. Product demos, social clips, explainer videos - all generated programmatically. This is seriously underrated.
Step-by-step:
Create a new project with
mkdir my-video-project && cd my-video-project, start Claude Code withclaude, and ask it to "Initialize a new Remotion project."Describe the video you want by typing something like "Create a 10-second animated intro video for a startup called LaunchPad with the logo fading in, a tagline appearing with a typewriter effect, and a gradient background."
Preview your video by asking Claude to "Start the Remotion preview server" and opening the localhost URL it provides in your browser.
Render the final video by asking Claude to "Render this video as an MP4 file" - you'll get a production-ready video file in your project folder.
