🎰 Sweepstakes-as-a-Service Platform
Raising the stakes
The Problem: You may have seen last week that our friends at Wispr Flow launched a really cool marketing campaign. They decided to give away a Porsche to anyone who can type faster than they can dictate to Wispr. Unsurprisingly, this blew up across socials. The press coverage alone was worth millions. So why don’t more tech companies do similar campaigns? Because sweepstakes law is a genuine minefield - New York, Florida, and Rhode Island all require registration and bonding for high-value prizes, every state has different eligibility rules, and getting the "no purchase necessary" structure wrong can get your promotion classified as an illegal lottery. So why not create the infrastructure to make this 10X easier for tech companies? Here's what we're thinking.
The Solution:
💡 The Idea: A turnkey compliance and fulfilment platform that lets any tech company launch a legally watertight high-ticket giveaway in under 48 hours.
🛠️ Product:
Company signs up, inputs prize details, target geography, and entry mechanic. The platform auto-generates jurisdiction-specific official rules, AMOE (Alternative Method of Entry) structure, winner selection procedures, and platform-specific disclaimers for wherever the campaign runs.
Legal compliance layer handles state registrations and bonding automatically where required, tax reporting prompts for prizes over $600, and GDPR/CCPA-compliant data collection for entrants.
Fulfilment dashboard manages winner verification, prize delivery coordination, and audit trail documentation - everything a company needs if they're ever challenged on how the draw was conducted.
🧑💻 Prototyping: Try the demo | Get the demo prompt
💼 Business Model: $299/month SaaS base + tiered campaign fees based on prize value (1-2% of prize value per campaign, capped). A $50k prize campaign costs ~$799 on top of the subscription.
⭐ End Goal: Acquisition target for a martech, legal-tech platform or a promotional compliance firm looking to modernise. $20-50M exit at 5-8x ARR.

📊 Planning Your Build With Claude Code

The Context: Most solo founders waste weeks building the wrong thing. They jump straight into code before thinking through the architecture, edge cases, or data model - and end up rewriting everything three weeks in. Claude Code's planning mode flips this: it maps out your entire build upfront, in plain English, before a single line of code gets written.
Step-by-step:
Download the Claude desktop app and open it. Click the Code tab.
Toggle on Planning Mode - this tells Claude to reason through your whole build before touching any code.
Describe what you're building: "I want to build a [web app / script] that does X for Y users." Be specific about the core use case.
Claude maps out the architecture, tech stack, data model, file structure, and implementation order - a complete build plan you can execute step by step.
