📝Google Docs for Markdown Files
Mark My Words
👤 Source: Jason Liu, a Developer Experience Engineer on the Codex team at OpenAI, said he wants someone to build this. We’re on it Jason.
❌ Problem:
Markdown has quietly become the language we use to instruct AI agents.
It's everywhere: READMEs, internal docs, Obsidian vaults and now the
AGENTS.mdandCLAUDE.mdcontext files that 60,000+ repos use to brief their agents. But the moment two people need to edit the same
.mdfile, the tooling falls off a cliff. We solved this years ago for word processing in Google Docs, so why not do something similar for markdown files? Here’s the idea.
✅ Solution:
Google Docs, except it reads and writes plain
.mdfiles natively, so the thing you collaborate on is the actual file in your repo.Real-time multiplayer editing with comments that sync and resolve, a suggestion mode for tracked changes, full edit history and a toggle between clean preview and raw source, all on files that stay portable markdown.
A two-way CLI keeps it honest:
opena file from your terminal, edit it in the browser with non-technical teammates, and the changes land straight back in your file system and git with no copy-paste tax.
🧑💻 Prototyping: Google AI Studio Demo | Remix this Build
💡 The Half Baked Take: When a guy on OpenAI's Codex team is publicly saying someone should build this, that’s a pretty good sign imo.

⚒ Founder Tutorial: How to Stop Claude from Making Stuff Up

Step-by-step:
Use these Claude.md honesty rules, layer in this verification protocol and use hooks to catch lies in real time.
Create a subagent whose only job is to review Claude's claims before they ship.

Building today's idea takes a few AIs: one to research, one to write, one to code, one to get creative. Subscribing to all of them adds up like every streaming service.
