🏡 Home Maintenance Subscription Business
Nailed it

Available Domain: Homepilot.com
The Problem: Owning a home is the classic American dream. Until you actually own one and realise how much work it is. Lawn maintenance. Cleaning gutters. Fixing leaks. Scheduling HVAC tune-ups. It’s endless. The average homeowner spends thousands of dollars per year and countless hours trying to keep their home in tip top shape. Which got us thinking…why not bundle it all into a single subscription to keep your home maintained year-round? Here’s what we’re thinking.
The Solution:
In a line: A flat-fee, “all-in” home operations subscription that bundles routine maintenance and preventive care into one predictable monthly payment.
Product:
📱 A homeowner downloads the app, signs up for a monthly subscription based on their home's size and age, and schedules an initial home inspection.
🛠️ A dedicated Home Manager conducts a thorough assessment, creating a proactive maintenance plan and identifying potential issues before they become costly problems.
✅ The service includes regular preventative maintenance visits (e.g., HVAC tune-ups, gutter cleaning) and covers everything from small fixes to major system replacements, all for one flat monthly fee.
👨🔧 When a repair is needed, the homeowner simply submits a request through the app, and a vetted, qualified tradesperson is dispatched to fix the issue.
Business Model: A recurring subscription revenue model, with tiered pricing based on home size, age, and location, supplemented by service fees for bigger repair jobs.
End Goal: Sell to a large home services provider like Angi for a 5-8x revenue multiple.

🗣️ The AI Tool We Use Literally Everyday
This is Darragh. Darragh never stops talking. But not to us, no…to ChatGPT. That’s because Darragh uses Wispr Flow to supercharge his ChatGPT workflow.
How it works:
He presses and holds the spacebar to dictate his prompt to ChatGPT
Wispr Flow instantly converts his natural speech into text, auto-editing out filler words or mistakes
He hits enter and ChatGPT does its magic
He also uses Wispr Flow across countless other apps, like Slack, Notion, Gmail. It works everywhere.

🛰️ We Got GPUs in Space Before GTA 6

The Trend: Jeff Bezos famously said he envisions a future where Earth will be transformed into a "residential and light industrial" zone, with all heavy industry and manufacturing happening in space. Very cool. Well Jensen Huang and Nvidia have taken the first steps towards this with Starcloud, where they’re putting data centers in outer space. We gave them too much money, didn’t we? Over time though more and more manufacturing will move off-planet, and this is just the beginning.
Opportunities:
Orbital Compute Brokerage: A business that creates a marketplace for buying and selling compute time on various orbital data centers.
Satellite Data Processing Pipeline: A service for satellite operators to pre-process their data in space, significantly reducing costly data downlink requirements.

🛍 How to Build a Shopify Store Using Lovable

The Tool: There’s been a lot of big announcements this week. But one of the bigger announcements was Lovable and Shopify’s integration where you can now build a fully functioning e-commerce store in Lovable. Here’s how.
Step-by-step:
Go to Lovable.dev/shopify
Prompt what kind of store you want built e.g. “Build a Shopify store for my golf brand”
Add products you wish to sell by prompting
Keep prompting and refining your design until your store is ready to launch. Lovable’s documentation is super helpful here.

💡 Idea to Launched App in 60 Days

Coding wasn’t Jasie’s thing, but she had a brilliant idea for a consumer-debt management platform. After working with Byldd for 2 months, Jasie’s platform was live, onboarding users and generating revenue.
Here's their magic formula:
You bring the domain expertise
They bring the technical skills (a complete product team for bootstrapping founders)
Your industry knowledge + their technical expertise = products that make money.

🧳 Turning Travel into a $7B Business

The Idea: Back in 2015, Ariel Cohen and Ilan Twig, serial entrepreneurs who had previously co-founded and sold a company, found themselves frustrated with the clunky, outdated software used for corporate travel and expenses. They saw a clear need for a modern, user-friendly platform that could streamline the entire process, from booking to expensing. Their vision was to create a single, integrated solution that would make business travel easier for employees. This was the idea for Navan.
The Execution:
2015: Founded as TripActions, the company secured a $2.12 million seed round to build its minimum viable product (MVP).
2017: After operating in stealth mode, TripActions officially launched with a $14.6 million Series A funding round.
2018: The company rapidly scaled, raising a $51 million Series B and a $154 million Series C, and expanded internationally with new offices in London and Amsterdam.
2020: In response to the global pandemic, TripActions adapted by launching TripActions Liquid, a smart payment and expense management solution, to diversify beyond travel.
2021: The company's growth continued with a $155 million Series E and a $275 million Series F, reaching a valuation of nearly $7.25 billion.
2023: TripActions rebranded to Navan to reflect its evolution into an all-in-one travel, corporate card, and expense management super app.
2025: On October 21, Navan announced its IPO, offering nearly 37 million shares, with reports suggesting a target valuation of $7-8 billion.
The key takeaway? A relentless focus on building a product that makes users’ lives better is needed to win.
