Musical AI Alarm Clock

Clock and Roll

Available Domain: MorningSong.co

The Problem: If you’re a morning person then all I can say is…I’m jealous. I’m one of those people who has to peel themselves out of bed in the morning after a few too many snoozes on my alarm. Even the sound of the standard iPhone alarm (you know the one I’m talking about) is enough to send shivers down my spine. I wish waking up was a far more enjoyable experience…which got me thinking…what product could make waking up in the morning a pleasurable experience? We think we might have something. Here’s what we’re thinking.

The Solution:

💡 The Idea: A beautifully designed physical alarm clock that generates a unique AI-composed song each morning and displays the time through cleverly matched song lyrics.

🛠️ Product:

  • Unbox your clock, connect it to WiFi, and use a companion app to set your wake-up time and select your musical genre preferences (mood, tempo, even artist "vibes" you want the AI to channel).

  • Each morning, the clock plays a never-before-heard song created overnight by AI, tailored to your preferences and the time of year. No two mornings sound the same. Songs are short (60-90 seconds), designed specifically for waking up, with gradual builds that ease you out of sleep.

  • Instead of showing "7:45 AM," the e-ink displays a lyric that references the time, like "It's nine in the afternoon" (Panic! at the Disco) or "It's five o'clock somewhere" (Alan Jackson). The display cycles through relevant lyrics throughout the day, making checking the time a small moment of delight.

💼 Business Model: Premium hardware sales ($199 per unit) with an optional $5/month subscription for advanced AI music customization, exclusive artist collaborations, and daily song downloads to keep.

⭐ End Goal: Become an acquisition target for a company like Sonos or Amazon (Alexa hardware division) at 3-5x revenue. These companies are looking for differentiated hardware experiences that deepen user engagement with audio and smart home ecosystems.

⚒️ Using Lindy to Give Your Marketing Team Superpowers

How it works:

  1. Go to Lindy.ai and install their AI CMO agents - the Research Agent, Analysis Agent and Creative Agent

  3. Sit back and relax while your marketing campaign comes together

🧠 Using Psychology to Revive Dead Sales Deals

The Tool: Whether it’s talking to customers (or even investors), there’s nothing worse than when they go cold on you. You have a great call, it seems like everything’s progressing then...silence. So you start sensing "Just checking in!" emails. Still nothing. Here’s how you can trigger their loss aversion using the “Chris Voss method” to get them to re-engage.

Step-by-step:

  1. The Wait: Wait 7 days after your last follow-up.

  2. The Subject Line: Write exactly this for the email subject line: "Have you given up on this?"

  3. The Body: For the body of your email, write this: "Hi [Name], I haven't heard back, so I'm assuming this project isn't a priority right now. I'm going to close things out on my end so I don't keep bugging you. If things change, let me know. Best, [Name]"

  4. The Result: This is a negotiation tactic called "going for no." Humans hate losing opportunities. They will almost always reply within an hour: "No no! We haven't given up, just waiting on legal!"

Give it a try!
